A sauna that is more than hot air

When we heat up the sauna for you at Lärchenhof, a small ritual begins. An invitation to let go. Made from untreated local thermo-spruce, the room smells of forest and warmth, of naturalness and security. There are no corners that have not been carefully designed – the wood lives, breathes, tells stories.

Candlelight dances on the walls, soft music fills the room. A samovar awaits with boiling hot water, fresh herbs and fragrant teas invite you to enjoy. A tray with fresh fruit, a soft towel – and then: nothing. Only you. And the Here & Now.

To cool down? Go out into the garden…into the clear, cold winter air. The breath paints white clouds in the frosty silence, the snow crunches under your feet. After the sauna, this is an experience for all the senses – a small test of courage perhaps, but one that is worth it.

A few steps out into the open, a deep breath that makes you wide awake through and through. Then back – into the warm parlor, wrapped in thick towels, with a cup of hot herbal tea in your hand and red cheeks that tell of life.
