Gourmet mushrooms from Wagrain
It wouldn’t be Claudia if she didn’t always roam through the Salzburg region with watchful eyes and ears – always on the lookout for new, honest ingredients that fit our philosophy at the Lärchenhof: regional, organic, sustainable, and produced with genuine passion.
And this time she found what she was looking for very close by – at the Wagrain organic gourmet mushroom farm.
A small, exquisite mushroom farm directly in Wagrain, which cultivates delicious edible mushrooms such as king oyster mushrooms and lemon oyster mushrooms with great dedication. Available all year round, in controlled organic quality and without long transport routes – that’s how we like it!
Freshly harvested, lovingly packaged and delivered directly to us – and of course Claudia couldn’t resist:
Then the first lemon oyster mushrooms were on the stove and were transformed into a wonderfully aromatic, vegetarian risotto with a hint of citrus and mountain herbs.
A real winter dish that warms you up and at the same time tastes as light as the next spring day.
Our guests can now regularly look forward to dishes with these wonderful gourmet mushrooms – it doesn’t get much more regional than that, and no more sustainable either.
