Il dolce far niente
Sometimes it doesn’t take much to enjoy life to the fullest – a good glass of wine, the scent of fresh rosemary in the air, a handmade focaccia straight from the oven, and the taste of sun-ripened tomatoes. That’s exactly what awaits you at our Italian evening at Lärchenhof – Il dolce far niente, the sweet idleness, as the Italians call it.
Upon request, we transform our small dining room or – weather permitting – our terrace into a cozy trattoria. Claudia, our hostess with a passion for Italian cuisine, opens her very personal cookbook for this – a collection of handwritten recipes, memories and aromas that she has collected on travels through Italy.
With much love and dedication, she prepares a menu that warms the soul: freshly baked focaccia with olive oil and coarse sea salt, aromatically grilled vegetables, refined with Mediterranean herbs such as thyme, sage and basil, handmade pasta in various variations, accompanied by light, fresh sauces and selected wines. And for the grand finale? A creamy tiramisu – as it comes to the table in Italy – or another dolce that Claudia spontaneously conjures up.
The Italian evening at Lärchenhof is more than just a dinner – it is a small break, a culinary getaway into the world of Dolce Vita. Just let us know if you feel like Italy – Claudia is looking forward to spoiling you with her Mediterranean creations.
