Golden autumn in Wagrain-Kleinarl – hike, savour & find peace

We say it every year – and we mean it every year: Autumn here is simply something very special.

The days grow a little shorter, the air clearer and the mountains around us gradually turn colourful. Mornings are already crisp, at midday you can sometimes still sit wonderfully in the sunshine, and in the evening you look forward to coming back into the warmth.

This is exactly the time we love.

Out. Hiking. Taking a deep breath.

Now the hiking trails become quieter. No more high-summer bustle, instead clear views, colourful forests and that very special light that somehow only exists in autumn. So lace up your hiking boots and off you go. Perhaps it will be a long tour, perhaps just a leisurely walk. And perhaps you’ll simply sit a little longer on a bench along the way, because it’s just so beautiful right now. In autumn everything is allowed to slow down a little.

And afterwards? Coming home.

Back at the Lärchenhof, exactly what you look forward to after an autumn day outdoors awaits: warmth, cosiness and of course something good to eat.

Perhaps first a hot chocolate by the fireplace. Later a lovely dinner, a glass of wine and plenty of time. Claudia cooks what suits the season, what’s currently growing and what tastes good. Regional, organic, with herbs and ingredients from the garden and of course with lots of homemade touches. This is how autumn tastes with us.

You don’t have to stay with us to enjoy with us

This too is part of autumn at the Lärchenhof: simply dropping by to savour.

Our breakfast is also available for external guests – from 8 to 10 a.m. for €35 per person. Fresh, home-baked bread, homemade jams, organic products, eggs from the region, coffee, tea and everything that makes a leisurely morning.

Or you can join us in the evening. From Thursday to Saturday we also cook for external guests. You can choose between our 2-course menu for €45, 3-course menu for €55 or 4-course menu for €65.

Please always with a reservation – so that Claudia can really prepare something lovely for you.

Until November 3rd

We still have a little time left. We’re open until November 3rd and would like to really savour these last autumn weeks once more.

Hiking. Eating well. Long breakfasts. Sitting by the fireplace. Drinking a glass of wine. Sleeping in. Enjoying the peace.

And perhaps simply having nothing planned.

Because that’s exactly what autumn is for.

We look forward to seeing you – to familiar faces, new stories and many more cosy autumn days at the Lärchenhof.
