Winter in Kleinarl

November is here, and anticipation for winter is growing in Kleinarl! The first snowflakes have already appeared, the mountains are already wearing a white blanket in places, and it’s slowly time to get the skis out of the cellar again.

We particularly love this time of year. When it gets cold outside and when we all come back inside to warmth after a day in the fresh air.

What makes winter in Kleinarl so special?

Of course, skiing is part of it! With Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl and the many slopes in Ski amadé, we have a truly beautiful ski area right on our doorstep.

But do you know what we love just as much? The quiet winter days off the slopes. A walk to Jägersee when the trees are covered in snow. The sun peeking out between the mountains. Or simply spending an afternoon without a big agenda.

And those who enjoy being out with their dog will also find wonderful opportunities for shared winter walks here in Kleinarltal.

After a winter day, it gets cozy with us

When our guests return to the Lärchenhof in the afternoon, it’s time to get cozy. Perhaps a round in the sauna, a good book, or simply a little time for themselves.

And meanwhile, busy work is already underway in the kitchen. Claudia herself is, of course, at the stove, considering what will be served for dinner. Much of what we harvested in our garden in summer also finds its place in our kitchen in winter.

We believe that a truly wonderful winter holiday also includes truly good food!

A small hotel in the heart of a winter paradise

With our ten rooms, the Lärchenhof has remained manageable. And that’s a good thing! We have time for our guests, are happy to give tips for the next excursion, and enjoy hearing about the day’s experiences over dinner in the evening.

Whether it’s a few days of skiing, a winter holiday with your dog, or a cozy getaway for two – Kleinarl truly has a lot to offer in winter.

Now, all that’s really missing is a good amount of snow. Then winter can come!

We look forward to welcoming you!
