On January 11, 2026, we at the Lärchenhof will be hosting a special literary winter day for the very first time. We cordially invite you to the book presentation of “Schneeflockentanz – ein literarischer Winterspaziergang” (Snowflake Dance – A Literary Winter Walk) by Gudrun Winklhofer – a collection of poetic texts that capture the magic of the quiet months in words.

Words that fall to the ground as quietly as snowflakes

“Schneeflockentanz” is not a book that wants to be loud. It is an invitation to slowness, a quiet companion through the transitions of the year. From the last days of autumn, through Advent and the Christmas season, to the quiet midwinter and the first snowdrops – with fine observations and warm images, Gudrun Winklhofer takes us through the quiet season.

Gudrun Winklhofer reads selected texts from her new book and gives insights into what moved her while writing. A literary journey in which listening becomes a matter of the heart.

To round off the day, we invite you to enjoy fine cakes, warming coffee, and good conversations in a relaxed Lärchenhof atmosphere.
